Celsius to Fahrenheit Converter (°C to °F)
Celsius to Fahrenheit is a daily need for weather, cooking and travel. Unlike most conversions it needs an offset as well as a scale factor, because the two scales start at different zeros.

How the conversion works
Multiply the Celsius value by 9⁄5 and add 32. The widget opens at 20 °C, which converts to 68 °F. Reverse the direction by subtracting 32 first and multiplying by 5⁄9.
Changes versus readings
The +32 offset applies to temperature readings only. A change of 10 Celsius degrees equals a change of 18 Fahrenheit degrees — no offset involved.
Keep in mind
- Readings below absolute zero in Kelvin are rejected as invalid.
- Sensor calibration and display rounding still limit real-world precision.
